Camilyn Larsen, AMFT
Associate Therapist
I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT#144770) with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I work with individuals, teens, and children to help navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and work stressors, identity exploration, life transitions, cultural or family expectations, and the unique pressures faced by high performers; whether in athletics, healthcare, corporate environments, or the military. I also help couples navigate relationships struggles and work toward healthy communication, conflict resolution, and deeper levels of connection and intimacy.
Clients often seek a therapist who is warm, direct, and collaborative. I take a person-centered approach and integrate CBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mental-performance principles to help people build insight and create meaningful, values-based change. Grounded in existential ideas, I believe we all have the freedom and responsibility to shape our lives with purpose.
Clients describe me as calm, grounding, and relatable. I focus on creating a safe space where you can slow down, feel understood, and start making meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy is collaborative, meaning you set the pace, and together we build practical strategies that help you feel empowered and more connected to the life you want.
Adopted from South America and raised in the U.S., I bring a personal lens shaped by multicultural identity, cross-cultural transitions, and belonging. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years leading teams in corporate settings and, at another time in my life, training and
competing as an athlete. These experiences shaped how I understand perseverance, balance, and the courage it takes to ask for support.
Outside of therapy I value health and wellness, and love paddle boarding with my yellow lab. I also enjoy seeking out good food, great company, and meaningful connection.
